Yes! Make it Happen CureFA Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

After making your donation, you will automatically receive a donation receipt via email for your records and tax purposes. If you do not receive your receipt or have any questions about your donation, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Every donation directly supports the mission of Make it Happen CureFA Foundation by funding grants for individuals and families affected by Friedreich's ataxia (FA) and advancing FA research.

Your generosity helps us provide grants that expand access to care, educational opportunities, and meaningful experiences for the FA community, while also supporting research efforts that move us closer to better treatments—and ultimately, a cure.

As our foundation grows, we remain committed to investing every donation where it can make the greatest impact for the FA community.

We accept a variety of secure payment methods through our donation platform, Zeffy, including major credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

All donations are processed securely through Zeffy to help protect your personal and payment information.

Our donation platform, Zeffy, is completely free for nonprofits and is sustained by optional tips from donors.

During checkout, you may see a suggested tip to help support the platform. This amount is completely optional and can be increased, reduced, or removed entirely before completing your donation.

No matter what you choose, 100% of your intended donation goes directly to Make it Happen CureFA Foundation. The optional tip supports Zeffy—not our organization—and allows them to continue providing fundraising tools at no cost to nonprofits like ours.
